Our foundation has an anticipated goal to provide out first $20,000 scholarships to two students entering the University of Arkansas in the fall of 2009.
Our fundraising efforts encompass the funding of the scholarship and the sustainability of the organization and its related assets. While our fundraising efforts consume our calendars we continue to focus on our goal to expand education opportunities to minority students from single parent households.
We are overwhelmed with the continued outpouring of support for our mission. We deeply appreciate your generous contributions and look forward to your continued support.

In recent years the average annual tuition has increased by 50 percent at public universities,
which can be a discouraging statistic for students entering college. We don’t want cost to make
anyone second guess attending college and attempting to better themselves. Our hope is to eliminate
the students’ financial burden, so they can focus their efforts on their education and their community.
Our goal is to provide two $20,000 scholarships for the fall 2008 semester. The scholarship is intended
to be dispersed over a four year period and will be dispersed before the start of each fall semester.
The student will be required to carry a full load (12 hours), keep an over all GPA of 3.0 and fulfill all
other agreed qualifications each semester. An interview will be held each semester to review the student’s
progress in all qualifying areas.
