Criteria for Selection:

1. Be a minority student from a single parent/guardian home
2. 3.0 Cumulative GPA – 20 ACT score
3. Be entering the university as a full time student
4. Complete a 500-2000 word Essay on 1 of 2 provided questions
5. Obtain 2 letters of recommendation from comuunity leader, high school teacher or counselor
6. Family incolme limits $65,000 or less for a family with one child
   (add $5,000 for each additional child and $10,000 for children in college)
