EASF is committed to helping students pursue their goal of a higher education. EASF is currently offering up to six College Textbook Scholarships to qualified students who are enrolling at the University of Arkansas. Students who apply must come from a single parent/guardian home with a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average. In addition, students applying are required to complete an EASF Application and a 200-2,000 word essay on 1 of 2 provided questions. You either may apply online or by downloading an application for mail submission. Just follow the steps below. If you have family, friends, or others you know that could benefit from the EASF Scholarship, have them come apply too.

Who Can Apply?

The EASF Scholarship Application is for students who want to enroll at the University of Arkansas and meet the following criteria:Apply Online

  1. Be a minority student from a single parent/guardian home
  2. 3.0 Cumulative GPA - 20 ACT score
  3. Be entering the University of Arkansas as a full time student
  4. Complete a 500-2,000 word essay on 1 0f 2 provided questions
  5. Obtain 2 letters of recommendation from community leader, high school teacher, or counselor
  6. Family income limits: $65,000 or less for a family with one child (add $5,000 for each additional child and $10,000 for children in college)

Important Dates:

  • November 12, 2010 - for early consideration
  • February 1, 2011 - for final consideration
  • Late March 1011 - Interviews for finalist
  • April 2011 - All applicants notified of status
