Easfoundation's mission is to celebrate Ethan’s life forever by creating opportunities for children and young people to thrive through football, sports, and faith. The foundation will provide training, mentorship, scholarships, and community outreach programs, ensuring that Ethan’s spirit continues to inspire generations to come. The Ethan Ade-Oduwale Smile Foundation (EASF) was created to honour the life and legacy of Ethan, a precious child full of light, love, talent, and faith. Ethan’s journey was tragically cut short, but his smile, his kindness, and his energy live on through this foundation. No child should ever have their story end too soon. Ethan’s life reminds us how much every child deserves love, opportunities, health, and the chance to reach their full potential. Yet too many children face challenges that could be prevented with better support, earlier intervention, and stronger communities around them. The Ethan Ade-Oduwale Smile Foundation exists to make sure children all over the world are celebrated, protected, and given the opportunities they deserve.

Ethan was not only a gifted footballer but also a child full of love, respect, and compassion. He played football with passion, trained with dedication, and carried himself with humility and joy. Beyond football, Ethan loved sports of all kinds — athletics, basketball, and swimming — and approached everything with energy and determination. Ethan’s faith in God was remarkable for his age. He was respectful, kind-hearted, and always smiling. Those who knew him described him as “a special boy with special talents.”He was also a signed Charlton Athletic Academy player, which reflected his extraordinary potential and the recognition of his talent by a professional football club. His legacy will now live on through a foundation that mirrors his values: faith, kindness, talent, and joy through sports.

We were heartened to see the BBC celebrate Ethan’s achievements, as he was featured on the list of sporting stars lost in 2025.

Our special boy continues to capture the hearts of the nation and to impact and inspire others, just as he did when he was here. As the year draws to a close, we want to thank everyone who supported our family through the passing of Ethan. Your financial support and words of encouragement carried us through an incredibly difficult season. With your generosity, we were able to give Ethan a befitting farewell, filled with his favourite moments, memories, and the people he loved most.
For this, we are forever grateful and pray that your homes and families will be blessed.
